Description

Here is a US Navy Signal Flag. The flag is a small solid light blue pennant. The signal flag is a subdivision pennant which were typically used on warships to communicate different unclassified messages. These pennants would be flown above the following other signal flags to indicate that the message was to be translated in the International Code of Signals language rather than the US Code of Signals
I pin it around WWII/Early Cold War because the material it's made out of, cloth, is indicative of materials that would've been used at the time.
