this is a large, perfectly working vintage antique book press. this has been stored indoors at all times and taken outside only for pictures. this is cast iron and HEAVY. The solid 2 inch base measures 21.5" x 15.5" inches. It is 17" inches tall. The heavy book plate is 10.25 x 15.25. The largest open space between heavy press plate and base in 3 inches.  Strong and sturdy turn-handle is 16 inches across. In perfect working condition as plate lifts and descends smoothly. A very nice piece and I'm sorry to see it go. It has been an awesome decorative piece for many years while also flattening out a book and record from time to time. A 100 pound beauty.
