Outdoor rated 3 cell AMBER/WHITE DMX or stand alone use. Heavy Duty Aluminum housing with weather-proof glass cover.
I have used these as fantastic Foot lights, Area Washes, BLINDERS!, STROBES!, spots, on pipes, on floor bases, and on clamps.
54 1 watt LEDs. 36 White, 18 Amber. Each of the 3 cells can be controlled independently via 9 channels of DMX as follows:
1- Shutter (Whole Fixture)
2- A.White
3- A.Amber
4- B.White
5- B.Amber
6- C.White
7- C.Amber
8- Strobe (Whole Fixture)
9- Dimmer (Whole Fixture)
Units also have some built in programs, color mixing, sound active? I've used the stand alone color but are almost always DMX from a controller.
The PWM Dimming on these units is not camera ready, when you dim these and are using video cameras, the camera will see the dimming as a pulse or 'flicker' any time they are not 100% full output. This can be an issue for me with the higher end events that I do.
If the camera flicker wasn't an issue I'd 100% keep them for sure for their weather rating and super output.
Paid over 0 each When new, these units came with linking hardware that would allow you to clamp multiple units together to form a sort of matrix or low resolution grid. All linking hardware has been removed and is not included.
8 units available at the time of this listing, all ready to use in good working order, all tested. Most have had the original connectors removed and have had standard 3pin XLR installed for DMX in and out. A few have not been modified yet but do have factory XLR adaptors attached. And most have had a standard 15amp edison plug installed but a few have a factory 15amp edison adaptor attached. Also I think I have 1? that has been opened and I installed a diffusion gel under the glass as an experiment, works great to smooth out the color mixing.
Great on outdoor gigs where you can leave them outside for a few days. These are my 'GO TO' fixtures to put on the top of a pipe/base to light an area like food prep or valet parking. low power draw and no heat.
Units are a very hefty 16lbs each, so keep in mind 10 of these equals 160 lbs. Thats why I took the original linking hardware off, saving 50lbs total!
