So in-between the time polishing - cleaning the Surface the other battery is charging and ready to go when you need it. Previously bought off of here, cleaned it up and purchase the additional backing plates because when I received it the backing plate that came with it was broken and there was a small gash on the side. The defect doesn't affect the polisher from operating not does it cause you to think about it.
