from a 7" player to a 10.5" reel machine with this original adapter made by Akai for two of their very special reel to reels. This is the original set and has been fully tested for smooth reel rotation in all normal speeds of 3 3/4 and 7 1/2 Inches Per Second. The box is in absolutely wonderful condition and catches the eye quite quickly. All necessary pieces for operation are here including the belts and screws which are still stapled inside of their original packaging. These pieces have been fully tested on an Akai 345 for use and it works wonderfully. Get the extension kit
you deserve from someone who knows how to test and confirm its quality. The metal arms and other pieces have evidence of use but will provide you a great experience for a very long time.
*Beware of other sellers selling this set* Behind the metal arms are pot metal pieces that are part of the mount system for these arms. The pot metal
often cracks and expands which ends up making rotation of the reel spindle either difficult or impossible.
