  • Condition: Ugly but usable crankshaft removed from a 1975 Yamaha MX 250. The rod bearing feels good, with no up-and-down play and minimal side play. That being said, the body on this crank on the stator side has taken some pretty bad abuse as the photos show. The crank had a bad bearing on the stator side shaft, and the previous owner must have beat the heck out of it with chisels or something to get it off. The threaded ends are in good shape, but there are some dents in the shaft on the stator side that you can see in the photos, presumably from the chisels hitting the shaft. Also, one of the plugs popped out as shown. It will be included in case you can reuse it. The crank rod seems to be in good shape, although there is staining in the upper piston bearing area that you can see best in the very last photo. It is still nice and smooth inside this area, but it is stained as shown. I would not hesitate to reuse this crank as it is, but I would certainly clean up the beat up side a bit mor

The crank rod seems to be in good shape, although there is staining in the upper piston bearing area that you can see best in the very last photo. It is still nice and smooth inside this area, but it is stained as shown. I would not hesitate to reuse this crank as it is, but I would certainly clean up the beat up side a bit more to make sure that no metal flakes off. You might also have to smooth out the stator side shaft a bit where the dings are to accept a new bearing. With a little work and time this crank should work just fine.

You get all you see in the photo(s). Please do not purchase unless you have confirmed fit to your particular year and model with a reputable source.
    >***NOTE TO ALL BUYERS***
We always ship your item(s) either the same day as your purchase, or on the next available business day. Items purchased after 12 PM noon on Fridays will usually not ship until the following Monday. This is all that we can do to ensure that your package is delivered to you as quickly as possible. Tracking information is sent to the buyer in an e-mail via eBay's automated shipment notification service. You can find the tracking information for your item(s) posted on your My eBay Items Purchased or Items Won page. Simply click on the tracking number to see your shipments progress.

    ***NOTE TO OUR INTERNATIONAL BUYERS***
Your government may charge you an import duty tax or customs fee on your purchase. This is a fee in addition to the shipping fees that we charge. You will be responsible to pay this fee if it is levied, in order to receive your item. We have no control over this fee or tax, and we have no idea how much the charge may be, or even if you will be charged at all. You must contact your customs department for any further information or clarification. WE WILL NOT FALSIFY ANY CUSTOMS DOCUMENTS OR CLAIM A LOWER PRICE FOR ANY OF THE ITEMS THAT WE SELL. Falsifying customs documents is against federal and international law, and it puts our business at risk. Be advised that it is against the law for a buyer to even suggest doing so. Please don't ask us to do this, we will not.

We always combine shipping costs on multiple item purchases to save you money. Everything will be packed into one box or as few boxes as the size of the parts allow. All excess shipping fees on multiple item purchases will be refunded after the items are packaged and the shipping label is paid for.

We are sorry, but we will not invoice for multiple item purchases. You must pay for everything you want first, and then any excess shipping fees will be refunded after the items are packaged and labeled. We have been doing it this way for years, and it has worked well for both parties.

    ***RETURNS***
Neither buyer or seller should have to pay for the other's mistakes. In cases of returns due to buyer error, remorse, or simply changing your mind, there will be a restocking fee that is equal to what we paid to safely send your package to you. This restocking fee will be the amount that we paid to package, insure, and ship your items to you. Conversely, we will pay all shipping fees both ways when it is determined that we made a mistake in the listing or if the item is significantly not as described as per eBay rules.

We do our very best to accurately describe each item that we sell. If you have any questions, please ask and we respond as soon as we can.
